Wisconsin School of Business, Accounting Department seeks a reliable undergraduate student for 15-20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available during summer months (June-August). This job requires ability to work at least a portion of the winter and summer breaks. The work schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) offers some flexibility. Hourly rate of pay will is dependent on previous experience. Monday, March 4, 2018 start date.

Description of Duties:

Administrative support to Department Administrator, Chair, Director of Graduate Programs, Faculty and PhD students.
Support travel authorizations, reservations, and online expense reports, includes non-employee guests.
Assist with special projects and events, as needed.
Transcribe department meeting minutes.
Interact with Dean’s office, information technology, copy center, conference services, and financial management office for services.
Other misc. office tasks as assigned.

Qualifications for the position:

Candidate may not be an Accounting declared major.
Ability to work during a portion of the winter and over summer break is required.
Prior office experience preferred.
Work study preferred
E-reinbursement, GET and WISDM experience are a plus.
Ability to work independently, use sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Conscientious; able to take responsibility for tasks and workload.
Detail-oriented with close attention to completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
