JOB REQUIREMENTS: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Coordinator provides professional staff support to Muskego Senior Taxi, ensuring that families in Muskego and surrounding communities receive the best possible service. Volunteer Coordinator: Assistant recruits and supervises volunteers and provides direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer functions within the Taxi to strengthen programs and involve a community of supporters. Assistant is responsible for scheduling all drivers and other volunteers, according to current needs. The position manages the Volunteer Office while working in an unstructured environment with numerous interruptions throughout the day. Fundraising Role: The Coordinator Assists with Fundraising Activities to Fund this Position and Organization as a whole. Office Management Role: The Assistant helps staff and volunteers resolve office equipment issues and maintain supplies. Serves as lead in technology changes and updates. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree or formal Declaration of Bachelor's degree in social service-related field or Communications or equivalent combination of education and experience with intention of completion of Bachelor's degree program within two years. Experience managing volunteer programs, leading teams and volunteering preferred The ability to communicate with, supervise and empower volunteers to be effective in their roles. Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities. The ability to work cooperatively with different types of personalities and continuously changing schedules Strong Organization and planning skills Demonstrated capability to conduct one's self in a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with the public and/or with difficult situations Ability to Communicate effectively and collaborate with staff and board members to create a positive culture. Excellent in computer applications and social media, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and internet usage and office equipment. Basic math and time management skills. Ability to create innovative materials needed to identify, recruit and encourage volunteers. Record keeping skills Willingness to adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the job.
